First Lady Melania Trump did something INCREDIBLE today and the mainstream media ignored it. She made an unannounced visit to a battered women’s shelter and met with a group of young girls who are victims of domestic violence and abuse.
Melania met with these victims for over an hour and delivered easter baskets!
The head of the facility, Matthew Ladika, said “It was extra special and touching… She asked them what their interests are.”
The best part of it is that she went unannounced. Melania spent part of her Easter Weekend visiting these young girls and didn’t care about getting recognition for it. The media has completely ignored it so SHARE this on Facebook to give Melania some love!
The group home is called Homesafe and it’s located in Lake Worth Florida. They also shared these pictures.
Remember how the media covered Michelle Obama? If she did something like this, CNN would be talking about it for days. But Melania is a strong, independent woman who doesn’t need the praise. That’s why people love her.
Homesafe issued this statement after her visit:
This morning, First Lady Melania Trump made a surprise visit to HomeSafe, and visited with the girls living in one of the five residential group homes run by the agency. Mrs. Trump brought gifts for each of the girls and spent time in the home visiting with all of them. In addition, she brought Easter Baskets and stuffed bunnies for other clients served by HomeSafe.
“We were thrilled to have the First Lady here and for our girls to spend time with her,” said Matthew Ladika, CEO of HomeSafe. “What a unique experience for them. This is something they will never forget.”
The First Lady spent about 45 minutes at the agency. The girls she visited with are victims of abuse, ages 12-17, who have been removed from their family and placed in HomeSafe’s residential program for treatment of the trauma they have suffered…”
